This is my second summer in Crested Butte, CO, and it is just one of the most beautiful places you’ll ever see. It reminds me of the snow-capped mountains of Switzerland, with crystal clear water and a charming downtown. It’s more than 9,000 feet above sea level, which can make for an interesting altitude adjustment upon arrival. Today, I took a walk on the paved rec-path at the edge of town for a nice easy stroll to help get acclimated. Summer is known for wildflowers here, and there’s a whole Wildflower Festival to prove it! The views on the walk were stunning and I wanted to share some of my snaps with you!
